Angie Brown

 Director/Lead Teacher

Angie has enjoyed working with young children at Noah’s Ark since 2014. She began as an instructional assistant and was promoted to a teacher position the next year, at which time she began coursework at Ivy Tech, towards an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, with just a few more classes to go before completion. Mrs. Brown also has previous studies at IU-Southeast in business management. In 2018, she was promoted to Director and Lead Teacher. Her patience and love for children shines through every day!

Whitney Crawford

 Lead Teacher

Whitney joined our staff in 2015 as an instructional assistant, and in 2018 was promoted to our 2nd lead teacher. She has over 25 years working with young children. Mrs. Whitney just recently received her CDA (Child Development Associate) credential! This credential took countess hours of work to achieve: over 120 training hours, the creation of a portfolio, being observed, and passing a final exam. Congrats to her for completing the work for this and this is just one example of the passion Mrs. Whitney has for serving our young children!

Sarah Sawicki

Assistant

Sarah came on board to Noah’s Ark in 2015 and is one of our instructional assistants. She also recently completed the CDA program and was awarded her CDA credential! We are very proud of her for all of her countless hours working toward this wonderful achievement. Miss Sarah has worked with young children for over 10 years and loves sharing in their lives and helping them to learn and grow!

Samantha Pendleton

Assistant

Samantha is our newest staff addition in 2018, as an instructional assistant.  She has worked with young children since she was a teenager, both in home settings as well as a child care center. She has previous studies at IU Southeast and is currently working towards completing her CDA credential. She has a natural talent for working with young children and she loves to see their enthusiasm for learning.
