Anyone who enjoys crafts is invited to join our group on the first Thursday of every month from 2 - 8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  This allows people who work and those who do not to come for all or part of the day. Supper varies from brown bagging, to pitching-in, to ordering out.  Come and enjoy fellowship and fun while working on your favorite craft (quilting, cross stitching, scrap booking, knitting, crocheting, rug hooking,etc.)

All women of the church are welcome and invited to attend our monthly meetings.  They are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the church or a member's home, September through May.

Unity Chapel's UMW sends cards to the shut-ins of the church each month and cookies at Christmas time.  We partner with the Unity Crafters in their prayer quilt ministry, help supply kitchen equipment and work on other church projects as they come up.  This year we voted to create an annual scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior from this church.  To support our programs we have a bazaar at the church Thanksgiving Supper and supply meals for election board workers.

Unity Chapel's UMW makes a pledge each year to the New Albany District UMW that supports local, national and global missions.  We are also a member of Harrison County Church Women United and financially support their program.

Current officers are Marty Thomas, President; Renee Eckart, Vice President and Scholarship Chairperson; Linda Reed, Secretary; and Lois Raisor, Treasurer.

Join us for an opportunity to be an active part of the Unity worship experience. We have been fortunate to be able to keep an energetic group and the choir over the years and we know that this fall will be no different and many of us are excited to start the new season. Our regular Wednesday practice time will is 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

We invite anyone to sing with us that has any desire to do so and we know that you will be blessed and enjoy every minute of the time together. Do not be concerned about your inexperience in singing with a group, reading music or singing parts as there are plenty to help you to feel comfortable and become an active part of our choir family. We really want new members and we can put as many chairs in the choir loft as are needed.
